The tower of St John's RC church is prominent near to the river and the new Police Station is in the course of construction to its left on Manvers Street. Central to the picture are the very clean buildings of Northwick House and the Marks and Spenser's Store fronting Stall Street. The original bus station on Railway Street sits between Manvers Street and Newark Street. B&W
