Description: Aerial photograph looking east from Norfolk Crescent at the bottom left and above is Green Park Station (disused except for car parking) prior to development of Sainsbury's superstore between the river and Midland Bridge Road. The modern development east of the station sits between Monmouth Street, Charles Street and James Street West. The large open area towards the middle of the photograph is the Recreation Ground contained by Great Pulteney Street to the north and North Parade to the south.
