Description
A plan entitled ' 18th Century Buildings in the City of Bath : War Damage 1942.' The limits of the plan are Lansdown Crescent in the north; Calton Road in the south ; Marlborough Buildings in the west and Sydney Gardens in the east. Two reference panels: at the top right hand (typed) and bottom left corner (handwritten) distinguish 'Damaged by enemy action; Seriously damaged and which may have to be demolished ; Seriously damaged but capable of repair; Slightly damaged; Undamaged.'. Reverse: Pencil note in left hand corner '5 (e)' and photographer's stamp in purple ink 'A.G. Bolwell 8 George Street Bath.'
