The limits of the plan are Lansdown Crescent in the north; Calton Road in the south ; Marlborough Buildings in the west and Sydney Gardens in the east. One reference panels at bottom left corner (handwritten) distinguish 'Georgian Buildings; Road proposals; Proposed new building sites; River Avon. Reverse: Pencil note in left hand corner '5 (h)' and photographer's stamp in purple ink 'A.G. Bolwell 8 George Street Bath.'
