Description
A plan entitled ' 18th Century Buildings in the City of Bath: Buildings worthy of Preservation.' The limits of the plan are Lansdown Crescent in the north; Calton Road in the south ; Marlborough Buildings in the west and Sydney Gardens in the east. Two reference panels: at the top right hand (typed) and bottom left corner (handwritten) distinguish 'Buildings which must be retained at a all costs; Buildings which it is desirable to retain but should not stand in the way of future improvements; Buildings not worthy of Preservation; Buildings which, owing to their position, are not likely to be affected by future planning proposals; River Avon and Destroyed by Enemy Actions.' Reverse: Pencil note in left hand corner '5 (c)' and photographer's stamp in purple ink 'A.G. Bolwell 8 George Street Bath.'
