Description: A view of the central façade of the north front of the Grand Pump Room facing Abbey Church Yard. Four giant Corinthian columns carry a pediment below the main intermittently balustraded parapet. The pediment contains an oak and acorn wreathed panel and entablature and also an inscription in Greek ' Water is best'. In between the columns are 5 oval windows. On the ground floor are large windows, arranged around a central doorcase with semi-circular fanlight above. B/W
