Description
The Smallholdings and Allotments Committee was set up in 1915 to exercise the Council's duties under the Smallholdings and Allotments Act of 1908. In September 1955 it ceased to be a separate committee, and became a sub-committee of the Parks and Gardens Committee. The minutes of the Smallholdings and Allotments Committee and the Smallholdings and Allotments sub-committee have been kept together as one series for the convenience of users.
