Description
Established in 1913 as a voluntary association working in connection with the Health Department of Bath City Council, and afffiliated to the Association of Infant Welfare and Maternity Centres. There were three branches in Bath, where baby clinics were held. The first centre opened at Rosewell House in 1913, later centres were at Walcot, Snow Hill (opened 1918) and Twerton & Oldfield Park, the Triangle (opened 1919).
