Description
Bath Corporation had a programme to develop the spa waters for medicinal purposes. Sir William Ramsay (1852-1916) and Robert John Strutt (1875-1947) had investigated the radioactive properties of the waters and in response, the Corporation invited leading doctors and reporters from national newspapers to Bath in order to obtain their views on 18 January 1913.
