Description: A photograph showing a group of three soldiers, who were often short of water and food and existing on bully beef and biscuits, buying welcome fruit from natives. The soldiers are stood in a line posing for the camera, with one holding a bag filled with fruit. The natives are sat cross-legged on the ground with their baskets, with one man stood up handing fruit to a soldier.
