Description: Photographs of a group of nine Sergeants in uniform with topis at Baird Barracks. Frederick John Reginald Urch is centre of back row. In the background to the left is an arched porte cochère to the right of the main tall building with a clerestorey which has a stone balustraded top. The window and door openings have semi-circular heads and highlighted keystones and two of the openings have material hangings, possibly for shading. A number of tall plants in pots arc out from the group of soldiers towards the main entrance.
