Description: This official group photograph appeared in the Bath Herald of the 8th August 1915, entitled '2nd 4th Somerset Light Infantry in India – Sergeants at Baird Barracks, Bangalore.' The soldiers at either end of the front row are accompanied by small boys.
Colour Sergent Frederick John Reginald Urchis is in the front row, 2nd man from right with hands on knees. Large man centre of front row is probably Regimental Sergeant Major Radford.
