Description: A photograph of, possibly, a village square or market. In the centre of the space is a lamppost with a dovecote on the top. A group of about six soldiers wearing topis can be seen. Two large trees on the left provide some shading. There is group of ladies sitting in the foreground and a market seller with his goods in front of him in a box.
