Description: The street name 'Claremont Terrace' appears on the house outside which the ladies are standing, but the location is not Claremont Terrace, Bath. The photographer's name on the reverse of the postcard is 'Newbridge Photo Co., Lyme Gardens, Bath', but this photographer is not listed in any Bath street directories between 1900 and 1925. However, a John Milton Bidmead and his brother, Frederick Parsons Bidmead, photographers, working on their own account, lived at 17 Lyme Gardens in 1911, and it is assumed that they traded as 'Newbridge Photo Co.'.
