Description
1. Augustine Edmund Christopher Strickland of Oakhill, p. Dawlish, c. Devon, Esq. sole trustee and executor of the will of Henry Deacon, late of Bath, now deceased, and Susanna Caroline his wife, before her marriage Susanna Caroline Deacon.
2. Mary Elixabeth Deacon, of Bath, widow of Henry Deacon.
3. Charles Strickland, now residing at the Villa Romagna Rosellippo near Naples in the Kingdon of Naples, and Elizabeth Mary Cotterel, his wife, before her marriage Elizabeth Mary Cotterel Deacon.
4. The said Augustine Edmund Christopher Strickland.
5. Reverend Thomas Alfred Strickland of Breedon Rectory, c. Worster, Clerk.

Whereas all the real estate of Henry Deacon other than the premises have been sold by Augustine Edmund Christopher Strickland and the monies produced thereby, and also the monies arrising from the personal estate, have been applied towards the payment of debts due and Annuities bequeathed, afterwhich there remained due from the estate the sum of £1420 and the several legacies of £300, £50 and £50 still unpaid, the estate being insufficient to pay them.
And whereas Augustine Edmund Christopher Strickland has caused the messuage to be valued, by Mr George Philip Manners, Architect and Surveyor, of Bath, ammounting to £1520.
And Whereas Augustine Edmund Christopher Strickland is willing to pay the said sum of £1520 himself for the purchase of the property without putting the estate to any further expense.

Plot of Ground and messuage or tenement thereon, known as No. 25 Marlborough Buildings, now in the possession of Miss Martha Butler as tenant to Augustine Edmund Christopher Strickland.

Consideration: £1520 from 4. towards the payment of debts and legacies of the will of Henry Deacon.
