Recites 1080/1/22

And whereas William Hale made his will dated 22 August 1845 appointing his wife of 1. executrix.
And whereas William Hale died on the 13 May 1869, and on 3 June 1869 administration of William hale's will was granted to Thomas Caffe Adams by Her Majesty's Court of Probate.
And whereas the principle sum of £150 plus £22.4.8 arrear of interest are still owing, making in all the sum of £172.4.8.
And whereas 4. has agreed at the request of 3. to pay to 2. the sum of £172.4.8, and to lend to 3. the further sum of £27.15.4

A half share in 24 Marlborough Buildings.

Consideration: £172.4.8 to 2. from 4. and £27.15.4 to 3. from 4. to secure the new principle sum of £200 (5%).

Whereas William Vassall made his will dated 27 September 1866, and four Codicils thereto dated respectively 21 March 1873, 9 february 1881, 17 March 1882, and 9 September 1882, thereby appointing his wife Martha Ann Vassall, the said Robert Lowe Grant Vassall and the Reverend Thomas Bramley, Executors.
And whereas William vassall died 4 May 1883, his will proved 3 August 1883. And whereas Thomas Bramley died 7 September 1896.
And whereas the Principle sum of £200 with interest remains owing on the security, but the same now belongs to the said Robert Lowe Grant Vassall and Henry Vassall upon a joint account.
