In 1845 William Comer acquired the property. In 1846 William Comer mortgaged the property to Benjamin Comer for £3,100. In 1849 William Comer mortgaged to Benjamin Comer for a further £750. In 1851 William Comer sold the property to Henry Oatway. £3,800 was paid by Henry Oatway to Benjamin Comer, which paid off most of William Comer’s mortgage.
