Apprenticeship arranged by the Churchwardens Frank William Prosser & Joseph Mitchell, for 3 years. To be trained as a Grocer. To be paid weekly as follows;
1st year – 10s; 2nd year – 12s 6d; 3rd year – 17s 6d. Holidays – Christmas Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Whit Monday, August Bank Holiday.
Father to provide meat, drink, washing, lodging, wearing apparel & all other necessaries & all tools required & used during the said term.
