3. Philip Whittaker, Bratton Wilts, Esq & Rev John Seagram, Steeple Langford Wilts, Clerk & John Eldridge, Chippenham, Esq
of £5,000 at 5% interest.

Whereas default was made in payment of £5,000 & whereas Ambrose Patient Dyer made his Will 20 Dec 1831 devising all his freehold estate to his wife Susanna & since deceased.

Reciting Lease & Release 13 July 1833
1. Philip Whittaker, John Seagram & John Eldridge.
2. Susannah Dyer, devisee of Will of Ambrose Patient Dyer.
3. William Baynton.
Whereas sale of some lands of said mortgage has occurred, still remains due to 1, the sum of £1457 11s 8d.
1 requested the repayments thereof. Susannah Dyer has requested William Baynton to pay it & to lend her the further sum of £330 8s 4d.
1 transfers the mortgage debt of £1457 11s 8d to 3.

Susannah Dyer made her Will 19 July 1833 devised all her estate to James Woolly in trust to sell. She died 15 Sep 1833 with £1,788 still due & owing to William Boynton.

Richard Hall Griffith has paid £570 to James Woolly, which William Baynton has agreed that the purchase money can be paid to James Woolly as he is satisfied that the remaining property will be worth enough to satisfy the mortgage.

This indenture:
Messuage, Tenement or Farmhouse with yard, garden & barton adjoining lying contiguous to Messuage or mansion house formerly residence of Thomas Browning Esq dec’d, situate on north side of lane leading from Bristol Turnpike Rd to Saltford, with Malthouse, barns, stables & other buildings adjoining & belonging late in the occupation of John Collier but now of William Drury, on 1 acre, & also a close of ground known as Lutmore or Nutmore, 1a 9p, late in the occupation of Susannah Dyer, dec’d but now of Mr William Clement Hill, in the parish of Saltford, part of the estate of Ambrose Patient Dyer & formerly of Thomas Browning.
