Setting up of Trust to use £500 for the benefit of the education of the people of Keynsham. The Trustees could buy land or property & use the income from these to pay their own costs & use the remainder of the profits to employ an able teacher to teach grammar, latin, arithmetic, writing and anything else they were capable of to 20 poor boys of Keynsham until the age of 15.
After the first teacher then the vicar should be the teacher if possible. If the income was insufficient, 1. transfers the messuage or Manor House called Bickfolds Farm or Bickfold Court in Compton Martin, in the occupation of Ann Jones, widow, so that it could be sold to increase funds.
