Whereas the grant so made by James Wise & Sarah his Wife & Michael Phillips & Sarah his wife is considered to be inoperative & unavailing for reason that no fine was ever levied to enable Sarah Wise & Sarah Phillips to divest themselves of the land called Stoney Lease. James & Sarah Wise & Michael Phillips all now dec’d. The interest in the land now invested in Sarah Phillips who confirms by means of Lease & Release to Edward Lyne, the land called Stoney Lease.
