The close called the East Parke (12 acres), The Two Easter Lawnes (11 acres) together with a Long Fall belonging to it, Common of Pasture on Mendip Hills for all manner of cattle levant and couchant to be taken upon the Common Wast and Forest called Mendip and and all other commonable places of the Manor of Ubley, and liberty to cut and carry away Furzes and Fern in Ubley, Somerset.

All property now in the occupation of Thomas Cox, previoulsy purchased in trust for Edmund Laggatt, of Chew Stoke, Yeoman, deceased from the Rt. Hon. Arthur Lord Capell and bequeathed by Edmund Laggatt in his will of 19 April 1693 to Thomas Cox (father of the said Thomas Cox), the son of Edmund Laggatt's son in law, Thomas Cox.
