Whereas waterworks known as the 'Rivers Waterworks' were at the time of his decease vested in Sir Henry Chandos Rivers in fee simple.
Whereas Sir Henry Chandos Rivers' will, dated 19 October 1870, devised all his real estate to Thomas Frederick Inman in trust in favour of his sisters and their issue, with general power to manage the estate until after his sisters' decease and their issue reaching the age of 21 years.
Whereas Sir Henry Chandos Rivers died on 31 October 1870.
Whereas the estate is being administered under the direction of the High Court of Chancery in a suite of 'Inman and Rivers'
Whereas an arrangement has been reached between the parties of 1. and 2. that a lease of the said Waterworks should be granted with option to purchase the same for the sum of £1000.

Waterworks known as the 'Rivers Waterworks' situate in Bath, except those in the attached schedule which are to be excluded.
Consideration: £50 p.a. for a term of 800 years.
Covenant: For purchase of the same by 2. at a cost of £1000 at any point up to 24 June 1880.
