Description
1. The Right Honourable Sydney William Herbert Earl Manvers 2. Francis Horace Mogers, city of Bath, Esq., and Robert Morgan Herman of 7 Union Street, city of Bath, Accountant
Whereas 1. is seized in fee simple of the premises firstly and secondly hereinafter described, subject as to the plot of land and messuage firstly hereinafter described to an indenture of Lease dated 11 August 1810; Reciting: Lease, 11 August 1810 1. The Right Honourable Charles Pierrepoint Earl Manvers and the Honourable Charles Herbert Pierrepoint 2. John Allen, city of Bath The plot and messuage firstly hereinafter described from 24 June 1808 for a term of 97 years Consideration: £7.10s p.a. and as to the messuages and premises secondly hereinafter described subject to a Lease dated 7 July 1821; Reciting: 0632/1 Whereas the said Earl Manvers has contracted with 2. for the absolute sale of the yearly rents and premises hereinafter described at the price of £725.
1. grants to 2.; Firstly all that plot of ground part of a certain garden and premises formerly called 'The Ham', p. St. James, city of Bath, containing in breadth from north to south 19 feet, and in length from east to west 84 feet 6 inches, and also all that messuage or dwelling house erected thereon by John Allen which covers the whole of the said plot from the eastern edge to the depth of 40 feet, called or intended to be called 2 Kingston Square. Secondly all that plot of ground, p. St. James, city of Bath, c. Somerset, containing on the south side thereof 83 feet 9 inches, and on the north side thereof 85 feet, and extending in depth on the east side thereof 34 feet and 10 inches and on the west side thereof 22 feet 10 inches, and all those five messuages or dwelling houses built thereon which form a part of the said street called York Street and known as 11-15 therein. 1. assigns to 2.; Firstly the yearly ground rent of £7.10s as reserved out of the premises firstly hereinbefore described. Secondly the yearly ground rent of £21 as reserved out of the premises secondly hereinbefore described. Consideration: £725 from 2. to 1.
