Description

All that close of pasture (1a.) partially enclosed by a stone wall and commonly called the Walled Paddock. And also all that piece of arable land (1a.) being in an open field adjoining to and on the left-hand side of a lane leading from Twerton to Englishcombe, bounded by lands now of John davis commonly called the Lower Field or Side Land. And also all that piece of arable land (1a.) lying a little above the last mentioned piece of land and commonly called The lawn in the Lower Field, together with the barn and wagon house erected thereon. And also all that piece of arable land (2a.) called or known as Bustard Gate in the Upper Field within a few yards of and on the right hand side of the said lane from Twerton to Englishcombe. And also a piece of arable land (1/2a.) on the west side of the aforesaid Bustard Gate. All which said lands are situate in Twerton, and were lately in the occupation of Samuel Broad as tenant thereof. From 1. to 2. for a term of 14 years.
