All that piece of arable land (2a.2r.13p.), p. Twerton., called Bastard's Gate and numbered 429 on the tithe map for the said parish, and the buildings thereon erected. And also all that piece of arable land known as Round Hill (2a.3r.30p., numbered 331 on the aforesaid tithe map. And also all that formerly arable land (1.a.1r.32p., formerly 2a.), p. Twerton, formerly called Bastard Gate, but now called Strip on Short Down, in the Upper Field next to Ellingtons, being within a few yards and on the right hand side of the lane leading from Twerton to Englishcombe, bounded north by Glebe land belonging to Twerton Vicarage, south by land late of the said Harriet Herbert, east by a road, and west by the turnpike road from Bristol to Frome, and all buildings and erections thereon. And also all that three cornered piece of ground (20p.), p. Twerton, bounded north by the turnpike road from Warminster to Newton St. Loe, south by land of Mr Harris, and south east by land of Richard Francis, and the Cottage erected thereon by George Hucklebridge, Gardener.
