Description
1. Sarah Puddy Perry of Lambridge Place, p. Walcot. c. Somerset, Widow of Edward Puddy Perry, formerly of Milsom Street, Perfumer

Whereas John Jones of Davords Buildings [Dafford's Buildings] by his last will dated 7 December 1838, bequeathed to James Charmbury of Bathampton, Farmer, and Peter Weare of Longdon, c. Wilts., Miller, all that his freehold messuage being 14 Walcot Parade, p. Walcot, and also all that freehold cottage and garden situate at Southover in the city of Wells, to the use of any person that the said Sarah Puddy Perry should direct by way of deed or instrument. In trust during the life of the said Sarah Puddy Perry to pay the rents of the said hereditaments to the said Sarah Puddy Perry or her assigns.
Whereas John Jones departed this life on 22 February 1845, and his will has been duly proved by James Charmbury and Peter Weare. And whereas Sarah Puddy Perry is desirous of exercising her power of appointment.

1. therefore directs that all that freehold messuage being 14 Walcot Parade, p. Walcot, and also all that freehold cottage and garden situate at Southover in the city of Wells, shall remain and continue to the use of her the said Sarah Puddy Perry her heirs and assigns forever for their own use and benefit.
