Description
1. The Great Western Railway Company established and incorporated by an act of Parliament passed in the fifth and sixth years of the reign of his late Majasty King William the Fourth intitled "An Act for making a railway from Bristol to join the London and Birmingham Railway near London to be called The Great Western Railway with Branches therefrom to the towns of Bradford and Trowbridge in the county of Wilts." 2. Charles Wilkins of Tiverton otherwise Twerton, c. Somerset, Esq.
Charles Wilkins covenants and agrees with The Great Western Railway Company that he shall and will make execute and complete the Eathworks, permanent fences, Drains, Bridges, Culverts, Viaducts, Masonry, Diversions and other works, temporary or permanent, as specified in the Specification annexed hereto as a schedule. Being on lands in the parish of Tiverton covering a distence of 1084 yards as set out on the plans accompanying the above mentioned Act of Parliament. Consideration: £4800 to be paid in instalments as set out in the contract
