Whereas the said John Misson being indebted to sundry persons in more money than he was able to pay, he was arested and confined as a debtor in His Majasty's prison of Ilchester, c. Somerset. From which he was discharged as an Insolvent Debtor in January 1823, all his real and personal estate were assigned to Henry Dance, Provisional Assignee of the Court. Whereas at a meeting of the Creditors of John Misson, held on 3 February 1823, at the Grayhound Inn, City of Bath, the said George Moger was chosen as Assignee of the Estates of John Misson. Whereas at another meeting of the Creditors of John Misson, held on 21 March 1824 at the Grayhound Inn aforesaid, it was resolved that the Assignee should be empowered to sell at public auction on Wednesday 14 April 1824, the Equity of Redemption of and in the messuages belonging to the insolvent, being 8 and 9 Beaufort Buildings West.

Whereas George Moger as assignee did put the aforesaid premises up for public auction on 14 April 1824. And in pursuance of the trusts in the Settlement of 30 November 1822, William Lavington and Robert Hawkins became the best bidders and were declared purchasers of the said premises at the price of £1700. And for the purposes of completing the said purchare, William Lavington and Robert Hawkins have sold out and disposed of the £105.2.0 p.a. consolidated annuities for the sum of £1715.1.6. Whereas all interst due and owing to Patrick De Lacy O'Brien De Lacy on his 2 principle sums of £750 has been paid but the principles still remain ammounting to £1500. And whereas there is now due to John Hollick the principle sum and interest totalling £470.10.0. It has been agreed that the sum of £1500 is to be paid to Patrick De Lacy O'Brien De Lacy in full satisfaction of the monies owed to him, the remaining £200 to be paid to John Hollick. The premises to be assigned to William Bye Lidiard as a trustee for the residue of the several terms of 500 years.
