Whereas Thomas Washbourne Gibbs made his will on 23 November 1893, appointing his son Herburt Washbourn Gibbs, and Austin Joseph King executors and Trustees thereof, bequeathing his leasehold estates to his executors in trust, as described in the said will. Whereas Thomas Washbourne Gibbs died on the 19 January 1894. Whereas Austin Joseph King died on the 28 August 1894, and by an indenture of 22 August 1895 between Herburt Washbourne Gibbs and Austin Michael King, Austin Michael King was appointed as trustee of the will of Thomas Washbourne Gibbs. Whereas by another indenture of 22 August 1895 between Herburt Wasbourne Gibbs, Austin Michael King and Claud Simeon Elwell, Claud Simeon Elwell was appointed a Trustee of the said will. Whereas by indenture 7 August 1914, between Herburt Washbourne Gibbs, Austin Michael King, and Claud Simeon Elwell, Herburt Washbourne Gibbs being desirouis of retiring from the said trusteeship, was discharged therefrom. Whereas the trustees (the Vendors) have agreed with the purchaser for the sale to him of the premises at the price of £1500, and 2. as tennants for life have agreed to the sale.
Now this indenture witnesseth: 2 pieces of ground with messuage thereon known as Ganville House, Entry Hill. An also all that plot of ground as described in 0547/4, which now forms part of the grounds and gardens of Granville House.
