Whereas default was made on payment of the sums of £150 and £200 and Thomas Hansford has requested payment of the same, it not being convenient for William Greenham to do so he has requested George Hansford pay off the said mortgages and advance to him a further £50. To which George Hansford has agreed upon the hereinafter mentioned securities.
All that piece of ground (74 luggs), part of arable land called Poor Tyning, p. of Monkton Combe. Bounded north by the Turnpike road, south and east by other parts of the land known as Poor Tyning belonging to John Houlton, and west partly by a road leading to quarries of Andrew Greenaway, and partly by land of Mr Burgess. And the messuage or tenement built there on by William Greenham. For the residue of a term of 500 years. And all that triangular plot of ground, bounded north by the Turnpike road from Claverton to Warminster, 25 feet, westwards by land of Andrew Greenaway, 92 feet, and south and east by land belonging to Benjamin Wingrove and the road leading down to the quarry of Andrew Greenaway, and those 3 messuages or tenements thereon. And all that plot of ground (1/4a.), p. of Monkton Combe, bounded north by land of Jacob Wherrett, west by land partly of Jacob Wherrett and partly of John Burgess, and east by a road leading from the Turnpike road to land of Thomas Tanner.
