Addressed to John Stone, Town Clerk, from Henry Spackman, land agent and Surveyor, providing a valuation of the leases for Mary Ann Osborne and for the Abbey Hotel. A clause in the leases of these properties empowered Bath Corporation to purchase the leasehold interest without paying the usual 10 per cent addition for compulsory sale. Also includes two waste sheets with calculation relating to purchasing the leases and compensation.
