Whereas the sum of £200 was still due and owing from William Greenham to John Brittan, and whereas the sum of £555 was due from John Brittan to anne Gunning for rent; John Brittan being unable to pay had agreed to assign the mortgage debt of £200 due to him to Anne Gunning in part liquidation of his own debt.
The Mortgage debt of £200 and the premises as security for the same, from 1. to 3.

Whereas the said debt of £200 with interest for the same at £4.2s was paid to the said Anne Gunning on the 22 March 1825, but no reassignment of the mortgaged premises has yet been executed.
Whereas Anne Gunning died on 2 February 1826, appointing by her will John Francis Gunning, her son, as executor.
Whereas William Greenham having occasion for the sum of £200 has applied to Thomas Hansford to lend him the same on the security as hereinafter conveyed.

All that triangular plot of ground bounded north by the Turnpike road from Claverton to Warminster, 25 feet, westwards by land of Andrew Greenaway, 92 feet, and south and east by land belonging to Benjamin Wingrove and the road leading down to the quarry of Andrew Greenaway, and those 3 messuages or tenements thereon, for the residue of a term of 400 years. From 1. to 3.
