Demise of land from 1. to 2. for 1000 years for rents as therein agreed.

Whereas Henry Fowler Cotterell and Thomas Edwards agreed on 30 October 1830 for the underlease of part of the aforementioned land, but no such lease has been granted to Thomas Edwards.
Whereas Thomas Edwards afterwards agreed with James Ford for the demise of part of the land to be demised to Thomas Edward from Henry Fowler Cotterell.
Whereas the said Thomas Edwards has erected a messuage on the land remaining in his possession, and the said John Payne has agreed to purchase the same and the remaining land of Thomas Edwards as agreed in the agreement of 30 October 1930, for the price of £62, to which Henry Fowler Cotterell has agreed.
Whereas the said John Payne has also agreed with James Ford to take a small piece of land as agreed by him to be purchased from Thomas Edwards, for the sum of 10s per annum to Henry Fowler Cotterell to reduce the rent to be paid by James Ford to Henry Fowler Cotterell. To which Henry Fowler Cotterell has also agreed.

All that plot of ground in Combe Down (3/4a.), and the messuage or dwelling thereon erected, bounded north by land of James Ford, south by land of Thomas Tanner, east by a road leading from the Turnpike road, and west by a footpath adjoining land belonging to John Burgess and the property of Rev. William Batchellor. Plan attached. From 1. to 2. and 3., and from 2. and 3. to 4. for the remainder of term of 999 years.
Consideration: £5.10s per annum from 4. to 1.
