Memorandums sent to or by R. C. Onslow, the District Engineer of Bath. Many are memorandums first sent to R. Denney, the District Manager, or R. J. Warren, the Bristol Avon Divisional Manager, which were then passed on to Onslow to keep for the district’s records. Covers a wide range of topics including energy utilisation and an energy audit; the forming of a Divisional Corporate Management team for Bristol Avon; water byelaws, including changes, drafts and confirmation of the 1978 byelaws; the well drillers association; insurance; security of vehicles; 1975-1976 drought, sprinkler and hosepipe bans and charges; salaries; organisational chart and role responsibilities; vehicles; protective clothing; storage tanks from home defence stockpile; reservoir capacity; consent for the discharge from the experimental water treatment station at Newton Meadows; reinstatement of Wessex Water openings in Walcot Street; shared supply pipes in Bath; metering; housing policy; mains replacement policy.

Also includes a copy of mainlaying procedures; draft of a document titled ‘Electricity Utilisation at Pumping Stations’; a copy of ‘Drought Briefing’ a report on the water supply situation during the drought (11 February 1976); a statement by the National Water Council titled "Application of the Government’s Incomes Policy in the Water Industry”; minutes of a meeting to discuss Water Supply Problems, held at Techno House, Bristol (2 November 1975); letter from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food on “Swine Vesicular Disease & Foot and Mouth Disease” (7 November 1975); notes and action sheet following the Director of Resource Planning’s meeting with the Bristol Avon Management Team at Bath (22 December 1976); draft copy of forms regarding hosepipes, sprinklers and swimming pools charges.
