Includes mention of a various water saving campaigns, and a free water saving device, a 'Hippo bag' that was included with the newsletter, it fits into a cistern and reduces the amount of water used when someone flushes, the newsleter also includes a report on Wessex Water's recent performance in fixing leakages. Back page includes information about the opening of Blashford Lakes study centre and an advert for 'The World's Largest Duck Race' event held on the River Avon Bath, Monday 26th May 1997 where all profits went to the charity WaterAid.
