Account describing her childhood in Ireland, including her account of the Irish rebellion in Carlow and witnessing her neighbours being suspected of being rebels, and married life in Pensacola, Florida, America where her husband was posted with the 31st Regiment.

This item was originally bound together as a series of folios of varying sizes, the amateur binding was causing significant damage to the folios and as such the volume has been disbound and professionally conserved to prevent any further deterioration. Each folio is now stored as a seperate section as follows
