Description
1. William Snigge the Elder, of Bath, c. Somerset, Esq.
2. Mary Jackson, Widow of Henry Jackson, and sister of William Snigge

Whereas 1. now stands indebted to several persons in several great sums of money, namely to William Chapman of Bath, Mercer, in the sum of £1200, and to William Snigge Junior of Boxwell, c. Gloucester, brother of the said William Snigge the Elder, in the sum of £800, and to Edward Lapworth, city of Oxford, Doctor in Physick and others, in the sum of £200. Which said debts and charges of interest thereon Mary Jackson has undertaken to satisfy and pay, and thereby discharge the said William Snigge.

All the Grange and Farm of Barton, situate near Bath, c. Somerset, with all those messuages, tenements, lands, meadows and pastures appertaining or belonging, and also all those meadow grounds called Kingsmeade and all other messuages, etc. of him the said William Snigge in Walcott and Barton for a term of 80 years from the feast of the Annunciation last past [25 March 1635].

Consideration: Payment by Mary Jackson of William Snigge's aforesaid debts, and the sum of 5s.
