Description
1. William Tucker of Coryton, c. Devon, Esq.
2. Elizabeth Bragge of Sadborow, c. Devon [now Dorset], of the age of twenty years, one of the three younger children of John Bragge late of Sadborow, esq. and Elizabeth his wife both deceased, and Thomas Rose Drewe of Wooton Fitzpain, c. Doset, Esq., and the Reverend John Richards of Longbredy, c. Dorset, Clerk, Guardians of the said Elizabeth Bragge.
3. John Bragge of Sadborow, Esq., eldest brother of Elizabeth Bragge, the Reverend William Bragge of the same place, Clerk, another brother of the said Elizabeth, and the Reverend Marwood Tucker of Exmouth, c. Devon, Clerk.

Whereas a marriage is intended shortly to be had between William Tucker and Elizabeth Bragge, with consent of her said Guardians.

Being a settlement previous to a marriage that was then had between John Bragge and Elizabeth Adney
Whereas by the above partially recited indenture Elizabeth Bragge, as one of the three younger children of John Bragge and Elizabeth his wife, will upon the day of her marriage become entitled to the sum of £1666.13.4 being one third of £5000 provided by the above indenture for the Younger children of the said John Bragge and Elizabeth his wife, and the said Elizabeth Bragge will also become entitled to the further sum of £833.6.8, being a moiety of one other third part of the sum of £5000, in case she shall attain the age of 21 years or many under that and her younger sister Lucy Ann Bragge shall die under that age and unmarried.
Whereas Ann Adney, late of Pymore, p. Loders, c. Dorset, Spinster, dec'd, by her last will and testament, dated 18 September 1778, after several specific bequests of goods and monies, bequeathed the rest and residue of her estate to her brother in law John Bragge in trust to turn the whole of her residuary estate into money and to place the whole of said funds out at interest. The interest thereon to be used as follows, to her brother Richard Adney (since dec'd) £40 p.a. during his life, and the rest to her nephew and nieces the aforesaid William Bragge, Elizabeth Bragge, and Lucy Bragge, equally to be divided between them as and when they should attain their respective ages of 21 years, appointing the said John Bragge as her sole Executor. Said will and one Codicil thereto were duly proved by the said John Bragge at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 10 November 1785.
Whereas William Bragge having attained the age of 21 years, the said John Bragge (since dec'd) paid to him his one third share in the said estate of Ann Adney, and having paid the legacy to Richard Adney up to the time of his death, and one other legacy as in the Codicil to the will of Ann Adney, the two other third parts of the residue amount to the sum of £3055.11.2 Old South Sea annuities still standing in the name of Ann Adney and £491.14.1 of like annuities in the names of Thomas Rose Drewe and John Richards as Executors of John Bragge, dec'd. To one moiety of which annuities the said Elizabeth shall become entitles at the age of 21 and also to any accumulations thereon.
Whereas the said John Bragge by his last will and testament dated 5 April 1775, did give and bequeath to his son William Bragge and his daughters Elizabeth Bragge and Lucy Ann Bragge, and any other his children, except an eldest or only son, the sum of £7000 equally to be divided between them, and paid to them upon attaining their respective ages of 21, in case any such child should die the share of them should be divided equally between the survivors thereof. And in the case of there being only 2 or 1 surviving younger child they should be entitled to no more than £6000. Appointing his wife Elizabeth and the said Thomas Rose Drewe and John Richards and the survivor or survivors of them as his Executors.
Whereas John Bragge by a Codicil to his will dated 8 February 1785 gave to each of his younger children as should attain the age of 21 years and become entiled to the sum of £7000 or any part thereof, the further sum of £1000 as an addition to their respective share of the said £7000.
Whereas John Bragge then died without having revoked or altered his said will or codicil, the same being proved by Thomas Rose Drewe and John Richards, his wife Elizabeth having died during his lifetime.
Whereas upon the treaty for the said intended marriage and for making provision for the parties and any issue thereof, it was agreed that the sum of £3000 in Bank annuities should be transferred by William Tucker to John Bragge, William Bragge and Marwood Tucker as trustees, along with any sums that Elizabeth Bragge was or should become entitled to.
Whereas William Tucker has transferred the sum of £3000 in 3% consolidated Bank annuities to John Bragge, William Bragge and Marwood Tucker.

Willaim Tucker covenants that within two days of his said marriage he will transfer to John Bragge, William Bragge and Marwood Tucker, the aforesaid sums of £1666.13.4 as due to Elizabeth Bragge by her parents marriage settlement, and also £1527.15.7, and £245.17 Old South Sea annuities due to her at the age of 21 under the will of Ann Adney, and also £2333.6.8 being her share of £7000 under the will of her father, and also the legacy of £1000 both due to her at the age of 21, transferred to them in trust for the benefit of William Tucker and Elizabeth Bragge his intended wife and the issue of them.
