All that messuage or tenement, p. Walcot, city of Bath, called Kingsmead House, late in the tenure of Mrs Saunders but now in the occupation of Mr James Viney as tenant to Charles Hayne, with the two little garden plots lying on each side of the said house, and the court lying before the same; and also all that court or yard lying behind the same, and the Brewhouse and chambers over the same. Which said messuage fronteth southwards on the meadows of Charle Hayne called the Great Kingsmead, and directly fronting onto a vacant piece of ground which is hereby agreed to be kept open and not to be built upon. Which said vacancy is divided from the said premises by a street called King Street [Kingsmead Street] which lyeth just before the gate and garden wall of the said premises and is bounded north by stables of the said Charles Hayne lying against a street called Monmouth Street being the way from Bath to Bristol. Bounded west by a way leading from the said Monmouth Street to King Street or Kingsmead and which way separates the demised premises from another house and premises of Charles Hayne called Old Kingsmead House now in the occupation of John Wilshire as tenant .
